A difficulty with getting anything done about noise is that most of us put up with individual isolated and varying noise problems without really knowing what to do about it. We might change our circumstances eg moving from front bedroom to another, moving house. We all work in isolation on our own particular noise problem, whereas we would all mutually benefit if we all support genuine reform in every aspect of noise.
